Top reasons for buying custom shoes

If you think custom shoes are a thing of the past, think again. A new breed of modern day cobblers are bring the lost service back by offering customisable dress, work and fashion shoes online.

Custom shoes are a great addition to your wardrobe because they give emphasis to your individuality. You will stand out because the pair of shoes you are wearing are unique. There’s nothing like it in the world. Wearing such creations will make you feel extra special – and confident, too – because they are one of a kind.

It is a given that women love shoes. Some of them go out of their way just to get the latest, and most unique pairs. Nowadays, men aren’t that different. Believe it or not, there are some who spend thousands of dollars just to buy a single pair of customised men’s shoes. Well, you can’t exactly blame them. These shoes are indeed a thing of beauty.

So why buy custom shoes? Aside from their aesthetic value, custom made shoes are a great addition to your collection. As you may know, people need different shoes for different occasions. You can’t show up at a friend’s wedding wearing your old school shoes, now can you? Custom designed shoes provide you with the opportunity to show up at such important events in style. Who knows, you might even impress a certain special someone with your great sense of fashion. And most of all, you can be sure that there’s no one in that particular gathering wearing the same pair as you.

Most custom shoes are hand crafted. This basically means that you can rest assured knowing that the pair you are wearing is of high quality. They won’t break down so easily, like the ones you buy from the department store. Sure, custom made shoes may be a bit pricey as compared to typical run-of-the-mill footwear, but they can help you save a lot of money in the long run.

Customised men’s shoes are also great gift ideas. By giving someone special – a very close friend or a beloved family member – a unique pair, you can be sure that your gift will be truly appreciated.

A gift certificate for a pair of customised shoes takes the guess work out fashion gifts. The recipient can design exactly what they want, in their own unique taste. You will get rave reviews and praises from the lucky recipient. And most of all, you’ll feel elated knowing that you really made someone very happy and feel special.

A little reminder: When buying custom shoes for yourself, make sure that you indicate the right shoe size. If they don’t fit your feet, you may have to return them and get another pair to make the correction. To avoid such trouble, see to it that you measure your foot properly the first time.
It’s worth the five minutes it will take.

Why can’t you wear the same pair of shoes everywhere?

Men’s shoes are one of the most important fashion must-haves in their wardrobe. Even if you’re a full-blooded, testosterone-filled male, and you don’t have any interest in dressing up, you will need a few styles of footwear to match occasions in your life. Let’s take a look at some of the most popular types of shoes.

These shoes are mostly used in formal gatherings like weddings, funerals, or any occasion that requires you to wear a proper suit. Dress shoes are usually made of leather. When choosing such a pair of shoes, you should consider the suit that you’re going to wear. Wearing a pair that clashes with your outfit may get you arrested by the Fashion Police. To avoid a trip in the Paddy Wagon, ensure you have at least tan and black pairs on hand.

Why you need them: At one point in your life, you will need to attend a formal affair (like your daughter’s wedding perhaps?) and you definitely shouldn’t wear that pair of RM boots you wear every day.

Athletic shoes
This particular type of men’s shoe is probably one of the most popular among the guys. They are designed specifically for activities that involve vigorous body movements, like sports and exercise. Repeat after me, “athletic shoes are for exercise only…not fashion!”

Why you need them: Exercise is important to your body. To live a long and healthy life, you need to exercise regularly. And to provide comfort to your feet while you hit the treadmill or run with your marathon buddies, you will need to buy a supportive pair of athletic shoes. I’m an Asics fan for running. Other brands are strong in other sports.

As the name implies, casual shoes are intended for everyday use in a social atmosphere. They usually resemble athletic shoes but they aren’t designed for endurance. Casual shoes are probably the most comfortable type of men’s shoes. They come in different sizes, designs, and colours. They usually look great with jeans. Deck shoes, canvas slips and colourful leather sneakers are all in. Try customised shoes for a truly unique pair.

Why you need them: Unless you want to walk barefoot and leave your feet at the mercy of the elements, a good pair of casual shoes is a must. Thongs are not shoes. Wear Crocs only if you want to live alone.

A pair of boots can be used for both casual and formal events. Some boots are also designed for work as opposed to fashion as they provide your feet with maximum protection. And a rugged look. If it’s a formal occasion, you need dress boots. There is a difference.

Why you need them: If you’re not fond of fancy leather dress shoes, a pair of boots is the perfect alternative. Hiking and camping boots, are ideal for outdoor activities. When you don’t need a pair
of men’s shoes, you need a good pair of boots.
